We joined the October challenge called 10,000 steps.
Goal is to walk as much as possible and ideally to manage the magical limit of 10,000 steps every day. Teams from all our branches have participated, we monitor the results in the app and challenge each other. Colleagues from the hall also run a lot at work, the receptionist has to catch up more in their free time.
How do our colleagues evaluate the challenge so far?
“It’s nice not to stunt on the couch!” “I will definitely continue.” “During these days, I realized how easy it is to incorporate movement into everyday life.” “We are beating the daily target without any problems, although it is worse during the weekends.”
Nurse Ada admitted that thanks to this, she can get herself to move, even though she doesn’t want to at all. Stewardess Evička sees this as a chance to improve her figure in her son’s prom dress. Paja clears his head beautifully when he walks through the countryside and does not have to think about anything. The challenge motivates athlete Léňa to charge her smartwatch and thus has better control over her movement.
Flight attendant Markéta has another funny observation: “My loved ones are the happiest from the challenge. Whenever they ask – Would you get there? – I answer – Yes, and gladly! – So I don’t know what they’re going to do in November.”
We can already see that it definitely motivated us to move, and we believe that it will not end with November. So the goal of moving is definitely fulfilled!
