About PLASMA PLACE
The safety and comfort of our donors comes first
About us
Throughout the world on a daily basis, lots of ill people need to be treated with medicines produced from blood plasma. Blood plasma cannot be artificially produced; it is acquired only from volunteer blood plasma donors. And, for the treatment of a single patient, up to hundreds of donations are needed yearly. For this reason, we established our network of donation centers with the goal of acquiring new donors, and ideally to have them become long-term donors.
The firm PLASMA PLACE was established in August of 2016. Our first center was the Zlatý Anděl donation center in Prague. Since then we have built, and are continuing to build, new centers throughout the Czech Republic. We currently operate 10 audited donation centers while Plasma Place Anděl has become one of the largest and most modern plasmapheresis centers in the country.

The safety of our donors and the plasma that we draw take precedence over everything else. To this end, our facilities are modernly equipped and in very accessible locations, and our personnel are friendly and highly professional. We work to provide our donors with a pleasant environment so that they never have the feeling that they’re in a hospital, and they return to us thanks to the surroundings, the excellent staff and the benefits.
We ensure safety and the highest quality through regular audits, a highly-developed training program for our staff and management as well as the continuous modernization of our centers. We are holders of SUKL, PPTA/IQPP and GRIFOLS/PMF certifications.
Our mission
We are here so that people can help others. Our goal is to provide the best possible services and a comfortable donor experience to those who have decided to give blood plasma to help ill patients live full and productive lives. We want to raise awareness of the importance and irreplaceability of blood plasma for the ill and to strive for donations from new donors. We aspire to educate our donors as well as the wider public in the field of health.
We believe that people like helping others and we want to encourage and cultivate that way of thinking. This is why we want our plasma donors to enjoy their experience, from our well-liked staff, and the agreeable surroundings through to the pleasant moments of personal reflection and the gifts, so that they look forward to returning. We believe this is the best way we can help patients all over the world have access to affordable medicines and live full, productive and long lives.
